7 Day Scripture Challenge

My friend Laura is doing a 7 Day Scripture challenge.  Each day for 7 days she will post a scripture on her blog.  I thought this was a great idea and I decided to join her.

This is one of my favorite scriptures and one I have been clinging to a lot lately.
If you would like to join me and post a verse each day then please leave me a message or link in the comments below.  If you would like to see what my friend posted then you can go to her blog here......http://goosehillfarm.blogspot.com/2015/01/seven-day-scripture-challenge.html
What will you post?
God bless, Pat

Family Night! Goal Check up and Doing GREAT times two!

One of my goals this year was to have a family night once a week.   This goal has been a success times 2!
Every Tuesday night me, Billy and Stephen are having family night.  It might be..... or it might be but either way we are making it a priority and it has been LOTS of fun! Then on Sunday nights after church we double the fun and have with us, Jon, Jenny, JJ, Nene, ZZ and Jet!
So, on this goal it so far has been a success times two and we are making lots of special memories!
Do you have a family night?  If so what kinds of things do you do?  If you don't, I really recommend that you give it a try!
God bless, Pat

A favorite quote for today... Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.

I am reading...My new bible and devotion book…

Bible Reading Plan, New Devotion book, Bible and a Giveaway!

One of my goals this year is to read the bible completely.  Also to have a consistent daily quiet time with the Lord.  I am blessed, my son and husband gave me a new bible for Christmas, it is a KJV Women's Promise Bible.  I am loving it and it is even my favorite purple.  I am also blessed that our church always has bible day the first Sunday of the new year.  They do this to help send bibles around the world to missionaries through BEAMS.  BEAMS sends whole hardback bibles free of charge to missionaries so they can give them to new converts.  This is a wonderful program which I am glad we are a part of and help support.
Also on bible day we get a chart so that we can mark where we read and if you finish in a year, sign and send it into BEAMS, they will send you a certificate.  We also for the last 2 years have gotten a devotional book that has a good devotion for each day of the year.
So as I said I am blessed and I am off to a good start on these goals.
