Simple Woman's Daybook March 2019

For Today

Looking out my window....
I am seeing sunshine after a huge storm earlier today

I am thinking.....
I have a prayer request heavy on my heart and seeking Gods will and praying for this need

I am thankful....
for friends who love me and pray for me without question.  I have learned a few real friends are better than many fake ones.

One of my favorite things....
I know he is not a thing but he is mine.  This is my husband of almost 33 years and he is definitely one of my favorites

I am creating....
a space for me for my quiet time with the Lord
(no picture yet)

I am wearing....
sweats, jeans and barefoot, it's Saturday morning and not really dressed yet except to hang out at home

I am reading....
"Hope In the Hard Places" and "Brave Love"

I am hoping....
God will answer our prayer this week and He will give us strength and grace to handle whatever His decision is

I am learning....
I am brave, I am worth it and this is my year.  I am working on becoming who i am meant to be spiritually, emotionally and physically

In my kitchen....
just trying to find ways to make healthier choices but would love any recipes ya'll want to share

In the school room....
finishing up this week and getting ready for spring break next week...
we are reading "Prayers that changed History" by Tricia Goyer out loud together and the kids are really enjoying it.  I recommend checking it out

In my garden....
nothing but ready for spring and hope to help my daughter in law and grands plant some flowers for the front porch and thinking some bucket tomatoes for salads and sandwiches too

Closing Notes....
I hope that you will take the time to go check out The Simple Woman   HERE and on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/thesimplewoman/ She is such an inspiration in my person and christian walk.
